Commission approves appointments to Randolph County Development Authority

The commission reappointed four board members and appointed three new directors to the Randolph County Development Authority with three-year terms beginning July 1, 2025 and Jan. 1, 2025 respectively; votes were unanimous.
The Randolph County Commission on Dec. 19 approved reappointments and new appointments to the Randolph County Development Authority Board of Directors. Commissioner David Kesling moved to reappoint Mark Haddix, Charlie Friddle, Nathaniel Bonnell and Ed Phares to three-year terms beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2028; the motion passed unanimously.
Kesling also moved to appoint Larry Riggleman, Jennifer Morgan and Shawn Dilly to three-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2025 and ending Dec. 31, 2027; that motion also passed unanimously. The appointments and reappointments were made after the commission received a letter from the Development Authority requesting the board slate.
The commission recorded the appointments in the meeting minutes and included a form letter confirming the reappointments and new members in the record.
