Board members on April 28 highlighted Rancho's newcomer English Learner (ELD) program as an example of a district resource that supports students and families beyond a single campus. Dr. Forsey introduced the information item and framed Rancho's work as more than a program: "I saw Rancho move from a program to a school where you're serving kids as a school," he said, noting the school's role as an integrated resource for other schools in the district.
