Commission approves standardized lease for Western Prairie Human Services
Traverse County unanimously approved a draft lease with Western Prairie Human Services aligning terms across three counties and equalizing the rent formula, the Board said on May 19, 2026.

Western Prairie Human Services Director Stacy Hennen asked the Board to adopt a standardized lease so all three counties share the same understanding of property use, responsibilities and rent calculations. Commissioners approved the draft lease unanimously on a motion by Dwight Nelson, seconded by Kayla Schmidt.
