Tompkins County legislators approved a group of bond authorizations on Dec. 2, 2025, intended to support capital improvements across county facilities, vehicle fleets, road reconstruction and public library projects. The package included a maximum authorization of up to $18,050,000 (resolution M) for multiple county facility projects and additional resolutions for vehicles, equipment, highway work and other capital needs. Committee chairs emphasized these authorizations are procedural steps that give the county flexibility to borrow if needed.
