Parish authorizes FTA grant application and DOTD agreements for two bridge projects
Council authorized the Parish President to apply for FTA Section 5311 rural transit funding and to execute DOTD agreements for the Ti‑Adam Guidry Bridge over Coulee (H.015508/H015508) and Huval Street over True Canal (H.015509/H015509); both measures passed unanimously.

The Council on July 7 adopted RESOLUTION NO. 26-063-RS authorizing the Parish President to file applications with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for Federal Transit Administration formula grants for rural areas (49 C.F.R. 5311). The resolution directs the Parish President to sign required assurances, comply with Title VI civil‑rights obligations, and adopt affirmative minority-business policies for procurement.
