County staff presented a proposed $30,000 contract for a July fireworks show that the county plans to tie to a baseball game and other downtown activities. The presenter said last year's show cost $20,000 (county $15,000; town contribution $5,000) and that with tariffs and other factors a similar show would now cost about $23,000; the proposed contract would allow a slightly larger program for the 250th anniversary celebrations (speaker 4).
