The Litchfield School Board on Feb. 23 approved a resolution accepting two donations to district programs: $250 from Perennial Bank designated for the high school FFA, and $2,500 from The Litchfield Marching Band Boosters to pay for a summer drill designer. Chair Alex Carlson introduced the resolution and Stephanie Danielson seconded; the resolution passed on a roll-call vote with Mathews, Danielson, Oster and Carlson recorded as voting Aye.
The donations were presented as part of the meeting's action items; the band donation is specifically designated to pay for a summer drill designer, a staff expense for marching-band programming. The board listed no conditions to the donation acceptances in the resolution recorded in the minutes.
