Roberto told the board he and Megan attended Oregon Department of Forestry training on the tree plotter tool and said the city will manage the inventory for public trees. "So the city owns the management of the tool, so they are already enabled to start inventory in trees, public trees," Roberto said, and he proposed brief trainings for teachers at local high schools to create a multiyear student science project.
