Funding cut forces changes to Bolt program; robotics program seeks support

Parents and program organizers told the board Sept. 15 that the Bolt after-school program has lost funding and is currently operating two days per week; late bus service is funded through December. Brad Evenson told the board that adding an extra day would require the board to identify a funding source. The robotics program also faces funding shortfalls and organizers said volunteers have offered time but participant fees would still be needed to continue the program.
