Board hears update on hazard mitigation plan, expects winter presentation

"We have identified all the not all of them, but the majority of the problems that would happen within the county, floods, tornadoes, high wind, hail, fire, and then our plan to take care of that if something like that happened," the committee member said. They said the binder will be presented to the board "sometime this winter" and will serve as a road map for local governments.
Board members did not take formal action during the discussion; the update was presented as an operational briefing and local officials expected to distribute the mitigation plan to municipalities once finalized.
