During public comment, Satya Chandiguri introduced herself as a psychiatrist and Marion‑Region school‑board member and asked Cascade trustees to support her colleague Karina Guzman Ortiz or to at least include more choices on the OSBA ballot. Chandiguri described experience working across rural counties and urged greater OSBA attention to small‑district challenges and costs.
