The Pendleton County Board of Education voted to accept three staff resignations, the board said at its special meeting.
The clerk read the items listed for personnel action: “Jennifer Taleride, substitute teacher, effective 07/20/2026; Kaylee Murray, itinerant aide with autism mentor and CPI certification at Franklin Elementary, effective 07/23/2026; and Melanie Bridal, 1st grade ECAT at Brandywine Elementary School effective 08/04/2026.” The Superintendent said, “Superintendent recommends that we accept these resignations.” A committee member moved approval and the motion carried by voice vote.
Board members did not elaborate further on plans to fill the vacancies during the meeting. The board recorded the effective dates presented and accepted the personnel changes as read.
