The Trinity ISD Board took the following formal actions at its Jan. 26 meeting: approved the consent agenda; approved the CRI audit for 2024–2025 (motion by King, second by Bishop); approved the library committee’s book list (motion by Smith, second by King); adopted TASB Update 126 (motion by Bishop, second by King); renewed First National Bank CDs (motion by King, second by Hortman); adopted the Trinity ISD Investment Policy (motion by Hortman, second by King); hired a 6th-grade ELA teacher (motion by Bishop, second by Hortman); retained Walsh Gallegos for the superintendent search (motion by King, second by Franklin); and accepted the superintendent’s voluntary retirement agreement (motion by Bishop; second not specified). All motions were recorded as carried unanimously.
