Representatives updating the board reported progress on several bond‑funded construction projects. Justin Caskey of SpawGlass said work on the new Taft High School is currently focused on the locker room area and that steel materials are scheduled for delivery in the near term. Amos Byington reported continued progress on the baseball and softball projects, including work on the concession stand; he stated that concrete testing has been completed and passed.
The board received an additional update on the Agriculture and Transportation building. These updates were presented as information items and did not require board action during the April 20 meeting. The progress notes are recorded in the official minutes under the bond updates agenda item.
