Chair reports Van ISD trustees have completed required continuing education hours
Under a statutory statement read at the meeting, the chair reported that all Van ISD trustees have completed their required continuing-education hours, per the Texas Education Code reporting requirement.

At the start of routine business, the chair (speaker 2) read a statutorily required statement on trustee continuing education and reported compliance. The chair stated, "As required by Texas ex education code 1 1.159, I'm reporting the continuing education status of our board members for the past year," and added, "All Van ISD trustees have completed their required continuing education hours."
