After an executive session that began at 8:59 PM and ended at 9:57 PM, the Valley View ISD Board of Trustees returned to open session and took action on transfer-student matters (agenda item 4.A.1). Trustee Brian Hoffman moved to approve the transfer students as presented; Trustee Chris Byrom seconded. The minutes record the vote as five in favor, none opposed, and Trustee Kristen Tarrant recorded as abstaining. The motion carried.
