At the Nov. 3, 2025 meeting, the board considered nominees for the Rusk County Appraisal District Board of Directors for the 2026–27 term. Superintendent Dr. J.P. Richardson explained trustees could cast all 520 votes to a single nominee or divide the votes among candidates.
