The Taft ISD Board went into closed session at 8:35 p.m. to discuss personnel matters and to conduct the annual superintendent evaluation. The board reconvened at 10:09 p.m., and the minutes record approval of the superintendent evaluation. Trustee Paul Luis Treviño moved to approve the evaluation and Trustee Nicole Garza seconded; the motion passed on a recorded roll-call vote of 7–0.
