On April 6 the council approved a $250 donation to IL Valley Youth Football League, $200 to NCI Art Works and $100 to the Voluntary Action Center for its Taco Night fundraiser (motions #15355–#15357). On April 20 the council approved a tag-day permit for American Legion Post 182 and approved donations of $250 to Horizon House's "Road to Independence" program and $100 to Scouting America W.D. Boyce Council (motions #15366–#15368). The motions passed unanimously.
Council also placed routine communications on file, including tax receipts and thank-you notes from local organizations, and noted the upcoming National Night Out event for August 4, 2026.
