Wellington ISD board sets 60-point passing standard for UIL Level One classes
The Wellington Independent School District board approved a 60-point minimum for "Level One" courses to qualify students for UIL activities, adopting a list that includes advanced, Pre‑AP, AP and select science and math courses.

The Wellington Independent School District Board of Education voted Sept. 8 to require a minimum passing score of 60 in designated "Level One" classes for students to be eligible for University Interscholastic League (UIL) activities. The proposal was moved by Alison Strickland and seconded by Gene Pena and passed unanimously.
