Student leaders recognized for kindness at Hardin Elementary

"So we're really proud of these kids," the presenter said, noting the students' day-to-day leadership and their willingness to support classmates. The spotlight also included a description of a weekly problem‑solving class in which 5th‑ and 6th‑grade students practice teamwork and communication through hands-on projects, including a NASA patch‑design challenge.
Administrators told the board these recognitions highlight the district's emphasis on social learning and campus safety as school routines settle into the new year. The presentation closed with trustees thanking staff and students for their community-building efforts and encouraging continued leadership development.
