Robinson ISD board adopts multiple LOCAL policy updates
Summary
The board approved updates to six LOCAL policies covering employee grievances, personnel positions, lesson plans, library materials, student/parent complaints and public complaints; the motion passed unanimously.
Colette Pledger presented proposed revisions to multiple LOCAL board policies at the Feb. 23 meeting. The policies considered were DGBA (Personal-Management Relations—Employee Complaints/Grievances), DP (Personnel Positions), EEP (Instructional Arrangements—Lesson Plans), EFB (Instructional Resources—Library Materials), FNG (Student and Parent Complaints/Grievances) and GF (Public Complaints).
Alicia Williams moved to approve the policy changes, Keith Helpert seconded, and the board voted 6–0 in favor. The adopted changes will be reflected in the district's LOCAL policy manual as presented in the meeting packet.
