Robinson ISD approves $25,000 budget amendment to replace elementary AC part

At the Feb. 23 board meeting, Finance Director Stacey Proctor presented the district's budget status summary and recommended a maintenance expenditure increase. Board Member Kacey Darnell moved to increase the general operating function 51—maintenance by $25,000 to pay for a replacement Trane air-conditioning part at the elementary school. Alicia Williams seconded the motion.
The board voted unanimously to approve the amendment. After the change the general operating revenue budget remained $28,671,645 and the expenditure budget rose to $28,675,645, producing a net budgeted deficit of $4,000. The motion carried 6–0 with Kacey Darnell, Scott Everett, Jason Hahn, Keith Helpert, Justin Wiese and Alicia Williams voting yes.
