The board voted 5–0 on Aug. 26 to extend First Financial's depository contract for district funds for two years; the motion was made by Trustee Michele Terry and seconded by Trustee Dakota Rasberry.

At the Aug. 26 special meeting, the Roby CISD Board of Trustees approved a two-year extension of the district’s depository contract with First Financial. Trustee Michele Terry moved the extension and Trustee Dakota Rasberry seconded; the motion passed 5–0 with Michele Terry, Dakota Rasberry, Kevin Kelly, Carter Edmondson and Stormy Rasberry voting yes.
