On Aug. 11 the board delegated contractual authority to the superintendent under Texas Education Code §11.1511(c)(4) to obligate the district under TEC §48.257 and Chapter 49 and the rules adopted by the commissioner of education. The delegation includes approval of the Agreement for the Purchase of Attendance Credit and authorization to submit those documents via TEA’s Excess Local Revenue system before the Jan. 15, 2026 deadline.
