After a closed executive session under Texas Government Code provisions, the San Saba ISD Board approved guardians as presented; the motion passed 6–0 with one absence on Oct. 13, 2025.

Following an executive session that the board said was authorized by Texas Government Code Sections 551.001–551.146, trustees returned to open session and approved guardians as discussed in closed session. Kristen Nelson moved to approve the guardians and Rusty Glover seconded; the motion passed 6–0 with Stuart Isham absent.
