The Santa Rosa Independent School District Board of Trustees convened a special meeting on Dec. 6, 2024, and conducted standard opening items including the invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance. Board President Kelly R. Ballin called the meeting to order at about 9:19 a.m., the transcript records: "I, Kelly R. Ballin, Board President, am calling the meeting to order at approximately 9:19 a.m."
