Comal County engineers outline Altkelt Lane bridge project; construction to begin April 1

Staff said the design team included consultant Pizniki Camarillo and bridge engineering by Structural Engineering Associates, with Presidio Contracting identified as the contractor. The project was described as similar to the North Solms Ridge bridge: a three-span concrete bridge expected to take about one year, weather permitting.
Commissioners praised the project as an important safety improvement for a secluded, crash-prone location and thanked engineering staff for their work. The engineering office said it will present a small construction-phase services contract for approval at an upcoming meeting.
