County engineers presented plans to realign Altkelt Lane, remove a sharp curve and construct a three-span concrete bridge over Dry Comal Creek. Construction is scheduled to start April 1 and is expected to take about one year.

County engineering staff described a planned realignment and bridge to address a sharp curve and low-water crossing on Altkelt Lane in the southeastern portion of Comal County. The project will keep the road open during most of construction and will close it only for the final tie-in to the existing road.
