During new business, the Rio Vista ISD Board adopted a resolution regarding a daily prayer period pursuant to Texas Education Code 25.0823(a‑1). Trustee RJ Hodges moved “I move to approve the adoption of this resolution regarding Daily Prayer Period pursuant to Texas Education Code 25.0823 (a-1),” Trustee Matt Gilbert seconded, and the motion passed with six yeas and one absence.
