Board approves Bible-based Elementary FCA program for grades 3–6
The board approved a community-proposed, Bible-based Elementary FCA character-building program for grades 3–6 to meet before school on a rotating weekly schedule; motion passed 5–0. The group will rotate grade meetings weekly starting with grades 3–4.

District officials told the board that a group of community volunteers proposed an Elementary FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) character-building program for students in grades 3–6. The group will meet before school on a rotating schedule: the first week for grades 3–4 and the following week for grades 5–6. Superintendent Jeff Thompson reported the proposal and the board approved it by a unanimous vote.
