On Sept. 11 the Sharon‑Mutual Board of Education approved a resolution to use a minimum of 1,080 instructional hours for the 2024–2025 school year. The motion was made by Eddie White, seconded by Jeremy Baggett, and passed with three votes in favor and two members absent.
