He said the junior high roof replacement and Chieftain Center stair work are ongoing, the high school project has walls and exits in place and is being prepared for demolition work, and the Westside baseball and softball complex is on schedule to open in mid‑February or early March to serve the 2024–25 seasons.
The board did not record debate or an amendment to project scopes at the meeting; later in the agenda the board approved Change Order #1 increasing the Westside Sports Complex parking‑lot contract by $94,840.80. That change order was approved by motion of Melinda Ryan and seconded by Larry Hoover; the vote was 4–0 with one member absent.
