The Newcastle Board of Education considered two student transfer appeals during the July 22 meeting and denied both decisions following executive session. The motions to deny Transfer Appeal #1 and Transfer Appeal #2 passed on separate motions with recorded votes of Yea 4, Nay 0, Absent 1.
