The Newcastle Board of Education voted July 22 to participate in the Oklahoma State Department of Education Teacher Empowerment Program. The motion was made by Ms. Valory Dalton and seconded by Mr. Jeremy Gilbertson and was recorded Yea 4, Nay 0, Absent 1.
