The Elko County Commission approved appointments to the county library board on Feb. 18, voting to appoint Rebecca Hockley and Amber Hill after discussion about recent complaints and board performance. The motion to appoint Hockley and Hill was made by the commissioner who raised the complaints and seconded by another commissioner; the motion carried on a voice vote with one commissioner opposed.
