During open forum, Kimberly Oliver said she spoke not only for herself but for other community members who fear harassment by law enforcement and difficulties securing defense counsel. “I come before you today not just as a citizen, but as a survivor of the systematic intimidation, economic sabotage, along with the constitutional betrayal that I've experienced in this county,” Oliver said.
The chair thanked Oliver for speaking. There was no immediate investigative response recorded in the meeting minutes; commissioners acknowledged the seriousness of her allegations and the chair suggested appropriate staff follow-up and resources for raising complaints and requesting investigations. The board did not take formal action at the meeting in response to her remarks.
