Council committee backs draft adding county-business preference for procurement exemptions
The Government Operations & Fiscal Policy Committee recommended favorably on draft 2 of CB60-2024, adding language that exemptions from procurement competition must still 'consider preference for county based small business, county based business, county based minority business enterprise, and county located businesses.' The measure passed out of committee 4-0 with a technical insertion.
