County to issue RFP to replace courthouse electrical panel after failing component
Buildings & Grounds reported a failure in an obsolete bucket of the courthouse main electrical panel; an RFP for replacement will be issued within a month and funding is planned through the 2027 capital improvement budget.

Buildings & Grounds staff informed the committee that a bucket in the courthouse main electrical panel failed and that the unit is so old replacement buckets are no longer manufactured. Staff said the county was able to obtain the only remaining part but that the switch panel feeding the entire courthouse needs replacement.
