Catherine, representing Gunter Volunteer Fire Rescue, presented the monthly activity report, saying the department responded to 23 calls this month — a lower-than-usual total — and that call types were about evenly split between fire and EMS, compared with a historic 70/30 mix. "It highlights 23 calls this month, which is a unusually lower number for us," she said.
