Commissioners make multiple board appointments and reappointments

During new business the board approved several appointments and reappointments to local boards and authorities. The board reappointed Commissioner Gordon Kelley as Commissioner Liaison to the Economic Development Corporation/Brownfield Redevelopment Authority for a three‑year term; Jack Shattuck moved the appointment and the motion carried by voice vote. Terry (Terence) Frewen was appointed to the Audit Committee (motion moved by David Hodges), and Kelley was appointed to the Local Development Finance Authority for a term expiring in 2027. Phil Hesche was appointed to the Commission on Aging for a three‑year term, and Mary Montgomery-Colvin was reappointed to the Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan Advisory Council for a three‑year term.
