Committee staff presented a packet of 2026 Capital Improvement Project (CIP) requests totaling $875,000 at the March 10 meeting. Jon Harris reviewed the list, which identified Forestry Department priorities as Gordon Dam repair ($325,000), a new crawler dozer ($310,000, or a lesser initial reserve-savings amount), and County Forest Road improvements ($175,000, or a lesser reserve-savings amount); the Fairgrounds/Speedway request prioritized a building roof replacement estimated at $65,000.
