Commissioners award asphalt contract, reject dumpster bids and table several materials bids
The board awarded the 2027-04 Asphalt Paving Services contract to Brent Bell Construction, rejected all bids for 30-yard dumpsters (2027-02) and tabled several other materials bids for one week. Purchasing Agent Samantha Sherman reported bid counts for the contested solicitations.

The Rogers County Board on June 1 awarded the 2027-04 Asphalt Paving Services contract (07/01/2026–09/30/2026) to Brent Bell Construction after Purchasing Agent Samantha Sherman reported that 27 invitations were sent and two bids were received; Sherman said Brent Bell was the only qualified bid. Commissioner Dan DeLozier moved to award to Brent Bell Construction; Commissioner Steve Hendrix seconded and the motion carried on a unanimous roll call.
