Vernon County advances Springer Bridge replacement; road foreman outlines maintenance plans
Road and Bridge Foreman Mike Reasoner told the commission the Springer Bridge replacement (BRO R10845 on Trapper Road) is moving again after rain delays; he also reported new hires, planned mowing in Lake Township, rodeo arena repairs scheduled Sept. 18, and a quote for an Alphetta 6.5 boom.

The Vernon County Commission heard an update from Road and Bridge Foreman Mike Reasoner on the county’s ongoing projects, including work on BRO R10845 (Springer Bridge) on Trapper Road. Reasoner said the Henry Township bridge replacement "is moving along again after being delayed by rain," and the county is coordinating Local Public Agency (LPA) duties for the project.
