Council members emphasized that the Aspen representative to the Pitkin County Airport Advisory Board will serve ex officio and should provide regular, clear communication back to the council. Council member (speaker 2) said the council has not received steady information from past ex officio representatives and asked whether both applicants would commit to attending meetings and to keeping the council briefed.
