Delanco backs Burlington County's Rancocas Creek Greenway concept study

The committee voted to support the county's Rancocas Creek Greenway local concept development study (Route 130 crossing) to help the county secure DVRPC funding and to plan regional trail connections; the township will link the county project to its website when available.
Township administrator Deb Seminara briefed the committee on the Burlington County Rancocas Creek Greenway local concept development study and said the county had received DVRPC funding to explore trail connections across municipalities from Pennington to Willingboro. Seminara said the county asked municipalities to formally support the plan so the project can better pursue additional funding.
"The county has received funding from DVRPC to try to connect all of their county parks... The county is asking us to just, support this plan because any municipality that is on board to this proposal, they believe they would get, more funding if it is possible," Seminara said. The committee voted to approve the resolution supporting the preliminary preferred alternative for the Rancocas Creek Crossing Route 130 concept study.
Seminara said the county will launch a website with draft trail plans when available and the township will link to it on the municipal site. The resolution was adopted by roll call.
