Wabaunsee County commissioners on July 6 adopted Resolution 2026-26 amending the special event permit for Rock the Plains to require liability insurance with a $3 million per-occurrence limit and Wabaunsee County listed as additionally insured. The motion was moved by Commissioner Nancy L. Hier and seconded by Commissioner Boyd Ivan Davis; the vote was 3-0.
