Chairman Mark Barnes called the Greer County Board of County Commissioners to order at 9:00 a.m. on July 27, 2026. The board unanimously approved the minutes from the July 20, 2026 special meeting after a motion by Vice‑Chairman Steven Fite and a second from Commissioner Brent York.
