During announcements the court heard from Commissioner Rowell that an environmental impact statement (EIS) for a regional forest plan has been filed on the federal register, opening a 90-day public comment period. Rowell said the county is using Alternative Forest Plan #2 and urged residents to participate in the public comment process.
