The Chawanakee Unified School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the Annual and Five‑Year Developer Fee Report for fiscal year 2024–25 and adopted Resolution No. 5 (2025/2026) at its Jan. 13 meeting.
Chief Business Officer Melissa Kielpinski presented the report prepared by Koppel & Gruber Public Finance and answered trustees' questions about fee collection. Trustee Jessie Hutchens asked where mitigation fees had been collected; Kielpinski said she would investigate and "get clarification on the Mitigation Payments collected." Trustee Elisabeth Parish moved to approve the resolution; the motion was seconded by Trustee Seth Waltner and passed on a 5–0 vote.
The report documents the developer‑fee balances and projected use for capital projects. Kielpinski indicated follow‑up reporting will clarify any outstanding mitigation receipts and next steps for fee rate changes, which would require a developer‑fee study. The board took no additional action beyond adopting the resolution.
