Highway Commissioner Chad Scheinoha gave the Committee a departmental report covering recent snow-and-ice control operations, staffing levels, and highway-equipment maintenance. He also summarized consultant and contractor work on several projects, reported 2025 Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER) scores for county roadways, reviewed the Highway Department Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) map, and presented a draft architectural plan and proposed timeline for a new cold storage building on the west lot of the Chilton location.
